Product Details
Thread Repair Kits
Helicoil Thread Repair Kits are available in Metric Series from range M2 to M39 , in Imperial series UNC/UNF & BSW /BSF starting from 2-64 / 2-56 to 1-1/4 inch.
Helicoil Thread Repair Kit comes as a sturdy plastic carrying case. Helicoil Kit contains a HSS-threading tap , Insert installation tool, A Drill bit , Tang breaking pin & complimentary Stainless Steel inserts.
Wire Thread Inserts
Helicoil wire thread inserts are made of cold rolled 18-8 grade Stainless steel best suited for most of the industrial applications.
Helicoil inserts can be supplied in other metals such as INCONEL , NIMONIC 90 , Phosphorus Bronze , Beryllium Copper and with special coating & plating requirements such as Cadmium plating , Silver plating , Zinc plating and Dry film lubricants.
Helicoil inserts are available from size M2 and in UNC /UNF from 2-56 / 2-64 onwards to the largest size requirement in the industry.
Helicoil inserts are available as free running & thread locking inserts as a standard product in both metric & imperial series.
Installation Tools
Helicoil Insertion Tools are available as both plain slotted mandrel and threaded mandrel prewinder type tools. Prewinder tools are best suited for easy & fatigue free installation of inserts in production line to achieve a high quality of insert installation & prevent jumping of coil threads. Threaded mandrel prewinders are also best recommended for successful installation of screw locking inserts.
Thread Cutting Taps
Helicoil Threading Taps are available in HSS material as standard and in other materials such as HSS-E.
Coated taps with TiN or desired special coatings can also be provided. Helicoil Taps are available as Hand Taps , Spiral flute & spiral point machine taps.
Gauges
Helicoil Gauges are available as Go/No Go thread plug gauges for inspection of threaded holes formed by Helicoil Taps. These gauges are available in various Class of fit as 4H/5H , 6H & 2B/3B.
Automation Equipment
Equipment for Automatic & Semi- Automatic installation of Helicoils are available for production lines & can also be designed to meet the user requirements. Automation tools can significantly reduce the installation time as against conventional methods.
Tape feed or Reel mounted inserts are available which are best suited for aiding cycle time reduction during power installation of inserts.
Inserts for Plastics
Special solid inserts are available for plastics & other polymer applications.

The HeliCoil System
Helicoil is a thread insert used for creating stronger internal threads in soft metals & also for repairing damaged or stripped internal threads.
HeliCoil Inserts provide positive means for protecting and strengthening all tapped threads. They are mirror-smooth, reinforced internal threads of cold rolled 18-8 stainless steel, or other space age material, with hardness far in excess of the usual tapped materials.
Protects tapped threads against wear and damage in all metals and their alloys - aluminium, magnesium, titanium, copper, steel, as well as in plastics and other materials. HeliCoil Inserts develop maximum clamping load and bolt tension through efficient use of applied torque. Their smooth rolled thread surface assures most effective use of high strength alloy steel bolts.
